Picket fences can incorporate entrance arbors or pergola's to give your home a distinctive look and add street appeal.
Standard laser cut picket profiles can be an affordable alternative to picket fencing and are available in heights of 900mm 1.2m, 1.5m and 1.8m. You can design and cost your picket fence
from the above illustrations and prices. Fence posts should be spaced at around 2.1 to 2.4 metres apart or less if required. Posts should be 600mm longer than the height of the fence, and an extra post is required beside all gates and openings.
Picket fences can also be installed between brick or stone piers, or designed as part of a pergola or gazebo.
Picket fences are cheaper than handrails and ballustrades and are particularly suited to fencing. Pickets are available raw or primed and treated.
